Description

Gujia is very popular sweet dish that is found all across India under different names and is generally made around the time of Holi. Asha named her Manchaha Gujia because it is her favourite sweet dish, and the yellow, white, and brown palette she selected for her rug reminded her of the food. She designed the sweets motifs in towards the bottom and also played with the patterns of streets, zig-zags, and the waves of a river. The flowers and other patterns of clouds are her way of bringing out the season of spring, which is celebrated during Holi.
